Friday, March 13 2020 at 10:00am – As we have continued to track developments concerning the coronavirus (COVID – 19) both locally and statewide, and after Governor DeWine’s press conference today our leaders have decided to suspend all gatherings effective immediately. After much prayer and discussion, Lakeview Christian will be meeting exclusively online this weekend. We will continue to provide updates periodically, as the situation develops.
As believers in Jesus, we have hope even in moments of confusion and fear. We will always want to be wise in the decisions we make, but simultaneously bold in our love of one another and the communities we live in. We are grateful for our incredible community and its leaders, compassionate healthcare workers, collaboration and county with churches in our region and most of all, we are grateful for the grace of Jesus that covers us and compels us to love and serve our communities one person at a time.
Currently, we are only suspending services/programs through March 21st, but will keep you updated about any further cancellations. You can always call the office for more details. Thanks for your understanding during this difficult time in our community, state, country, and world. Please continually pray for healing for all those infected, and above all be the light amidst the darkness. Take time to open God’s Word, prayer and commune together as a family.
