Timeless Stories – Week 6

Day 1: The Game of Life

Scripture: Luke 16:19-31

Reflection: Just as early moves in a board game can determine the outcome, the choices we make in life shape our eternal destiny. Reflect on the question: What are you living for, and whose voice are you listening to? Consider how your daily decisions align with your eternal priorities.

Prayer: Lord, help me to live with eternity in mind. Guide my choices and let them reflect Your will and purpose for my life.

Day 2: Seeing Beyond the Surface

Scripture: Matthew 25:31-46

Reflection: The rich man in Jesus' story was blinded by his comfort and failed to see Lazarus as a person with an eternal destiny. Open your eyes to those around you who may be in need. How can you show compassion and see others as God’s creation?

Prayer: Father, open my eyes to see those at my gate. Help me to extend Your love and compassion to those in need.

Day 3: Eternal Realities

Scripture: John 3:16-17

Reflection: Heaven and hell are real, and our choices in this life have eternal consequences. Reflect on the urgency of responding to God’s Word today. Are you investing in what lasts?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for the gift of eternal life. Help me to live in a way that honors You and invests in eternal treasures.

Day 4: Listening to the Right Voice

Scripture: Romans 10:17

Reflection: Just as the children in the Amazon were saved by listening to a trusted voice, we must listen to God’s voice calling us to safety and salvation. Are you attuned to His voice in your life?

Prayer: Lord, help me to discern Your voice amidst the noise of the world. Let me follow Your guidance and find my way home to You.

Day 5: The Urgent Invitation

Scripture: Revelation 3:20

Reflection: Jesus stands at the door and knocks, inviting us into a relationship with Him. This story is not meant to scare us but to awaken us to the reality of eternity. How will you respond to His invitation today?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I open my heart to You. Come into my life and lead me on the path to eternal life with You. Amen.
