Day 1: Radical Allegiance

Scripture: Luke 14:25-27, Matthew 10:37

Reflection: Jesus calls us to place Him above all else in our lives. This means prioritizing our relationship with Him over family, friends, and even our own desires. Reflect on areas in your life where Jesus may not be your highest priority. What steps can you take to ensure He is first?

Prayer: Lord, help me to love You above all else. Give me the strength to prioritize my relationship with You and to place You at the center of my life. Amen.

Day 2: Daily Commitment

Scripture: Matthew 28:19-20

Reflection: The Great Commission calls us to be active in our faith every day, not just once a week. Consider how you can incorporate the principles of going, making disciples, baptizing, and teaching into your daily routine. How can you live out your faith consistently?

Prayer: Father, guide me to live out Your Great Commission daily. Help me to be a light to those around me and to share Your love and truth with others. Amen.

Day 3: Counting the Cost

Scripture: Luke 14:28-32

Reflection: Discipleship requires careful consideration and commitment. Reflect on what it means to count the cost of following Jesus. Are there areas in your life where you need to make sacrifices for the sake of your faith?

Prayer: Jesus, give me the wisdom to count the cost of following You. Help me to make the necessary sacrifices and to remain steadfast in my commitment to You. Amen.

Day 4: Complete Surrender

Scripture: Luke 14:33, Matthew 19:21

Reflection: Jesus calls us to renounce all that we have and to surrender completely to Him. Consider what you might be holding onto that prevents you from fully surrendering to Christ. What steps can you take to let go and trust Him completely?

Prayer: Lord, I surrender all that I am and all that I have to You. Help me to release my grip on worldly possessions and desires, and to trust in Your perfect plan for my life. Amen.

Day 5: Pressing On Toward the Goal

Scripture: Philippians 3:12-14

Reflection: The journey of discipleship is ongoing, requiring perseverance and focus. Reflect on how you can press on toward the goal of becoming a fully committed disciple of Christ. What distractions do you need to overcome to keep moving forward?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to press on toward the goal of knowing You more deeply. Strengthen me to overcome distractions and to remain focused on the prize of eternal life with You. Amen.
