If you are going to join us in fasting here are some general guidelines (General, they can be modified however you need to meet your personal situation.) That may include a juice fast or even the Daniel fast or just a water fast, that is all up to you. But if you are going to fast, please use the guide below to help you along with your journey.
- Starting the fast on Sunday evening after 5:00 p.m. thru Monday dinner after 5:00 p.m.
- Please set aside 10 Minutes for prayer to start with.
Guided outline to help with the church fast.
- Sunday evening
- Start with praying for the sermon message. Pray for the understanding of the Word. Ask God to work on the hearts of the people and how the message pertains to them. Pray for the worship team as well as staff and leaders, teachers, children ministries, events going on. Use the bulletin to pray over all the upcoming events as well.
- Monday morning
- Pray for the church. Praying for all leaders (Shepards). Praying for any conflicts you have, to surrender them, love all people. Praying also that you understand your part to encourage everyone in the Word. Asking the Lord to open the eyes of my heart and walk in its truth.
- Monday at noon
- Pray for specific needs that the church is seeking. Easter services, missions, community center dreams, Journey to the cross, road to redemption devotions.
- Monday before dinner
- Praise the Lord for all the mighty things He has done and the direction we are to go. Thanking Him for using us to advance the Kingdom.
